YES MY ENGLISH FINAL IS DONE!!!!
Now for some more pressing news....
Yesterday afternoon I stayed after with Ariel Miller to study for our Spanish exam. We couldn't study in the library cuz they were being quiet or whatever so we went to the Career Center where Mrs. Edwards graciously allowed us to study. Soon afterwards Alison Edwards joined us. So everything is alright when all of a sudden an announcement comes on saying "Students please go into the nearest classroom. Teachers please watch your students and do not leave the classroom. This is a lockdown."
OMG IT WAS SO SCARY!!! We locked the door but there are windows to the hallway in the Career Center so we could see the police go by, pretty much like a whole SWAT team with loaded rifles or pistols I can't remember the difference and at one point the actual stabber went by in custody, but since I was in the corner I didn't see much cuz Mrs. Edwards wouldn't let us move to see, but Alison saw him. Soon we were moved to the library where they finally let ppl leave, one late bus at a time, in small groups or pairs to walk or go to a car. Me and Ariel crossed the street to go to her car where we got interviewed by an anchor from WUSA 9 news (thats what 9 is right?) with a camera and everything. For some reason they taped us walking too. They didn't use us in their story for the TV though but apparetnly Murtaza made the news. lol
Seriously though it really freaked me out. In case you are totally out of it and have no idea what the hell I am talking about, two guys got stabbed at LB by an LB student. Though according to the letter it was one guy but the news and most other ppl say two.
Well on a completely different note I got my digital camera!
Still kinda freaks me out though. You can laugh about it but its sure as hell scary when you are there... |
